youtube.com SAO PAULO – Unlike other swimwear collections at Sao Paulo Fashion Week Summer 2012, the Agua de Coco brand had the fabulous Brazilian photographer Cassio Vasconcellos photograph beautiful pictures of the beach, palm trees, and color blocked squares which were later implemented onto the bathing suits. Floral prints were placed on some swimsuits through color pencils. Geometric shapes were found in the form of cutouts. Colors contrasted one another in unique combinations of pink and orange and blue and green. Gold detail made some swimsuits more effective. A beautiful display of Brazilian and couture combined. youtube.com SAO PAULO – If there’s one thing swimwear label Cia Maritima is, it’s bold! Thus, FashionTV wasn’t expecting any less of the swimwear label at Sao Paul Fsshion Week Spring/Summer 2012. Bikinis and bathing suits for the Brazilian label featured cutouts, python prints, suspenders, and animal patterns. With a little sway of their hips as they stopped to look out at the audience, the models seemed to give the looks a rock & roll edge. The collection was obviously hand painted; how else would it look so beautifully detailed. The bathing suits came in vivacious colors like neon, green, brown, orange, and pink and patterns like neon, floral, stripes, and geometric print shapes. Don’t forget the fringe, beads, or chains! All were apparent here. While the collection may be surprising to some, it’s not surprising to Cia Maritima followers, who know that animal print is the brand’s signature.
